TODD WHITE: The Miraculous Touch, The Story Of A Former Drug Addict Now A Jesus Addict.

Todd White was a former drug addict and atheist for 22 years. At one point, he was even suicidal. Thanks to the mighty work of God and to the anointed members of Teen Challenge, he has been set free.

Today, Todd is most commonly known as a "street evangelist." He believes that we should take Jesus everywhere we go, whether it be to Wal-Mart or a gas station. Todd believes that the keys to this Christian lifestyle are redemption and righteousness; two free gifts from God.
Through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we are now able to live a life free from the bondage of sin and a life of right-standing with God.

Todd additionally puts stock in the intensity of Holy Spirit. Essence of God can work in and through us to assist us with depicting the adoration for Christ and offer it with those we interact with consistently.

Todd encourages Christians to live a "kingdom lifestyle." A life where we simply allow Jesus not only to live in us, but to flow through us and into others. A life that never stops loving and never stops giving. The kingdom of God is in us, and it wants to be released.

All in all, for what reason am I informing you regarding this person? Since I am absolutely and totally empowered by him. Aside from Jesus Christ (and my mentor) ,

I'll go ahead and warn you that Todd says and does some pretty radical stuff, but it's all biblical. Of course it's not normal, but was Jesus normal?

Todd not only prays for people, but he allows God to heal them through his faith and obedience in Jesus Christ.

Scripture tells us in Mark 10:7-8 (NIV), "As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."

Mark 16:17-18 (NIV) says, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

God has given us the opportunity to not only accept his free gift of salvation, but also to accept the spiritual gifts that follow. BUT, we don't have to do these things. We don't have to perform signs and wonders in the name of Jesus. We don't have to pray healing over a broken person so that Holy Spirit may heal them. We don't have to do any of these things. . .but, we get to if we so choose. It's our choice, because God has freely given.

The motive in everything we do as a Christian should always be to give love. Not to preach at people, argue with people, or judge people. . . simply to love. Todd White gives us a perfect example of this life. It's simple: When you have Jesus living in your heart, you have the kingdom in your heart. We are commanded by God to share that kingdom, that Jesus, that love with everyone we encounter. It should be a lifestyle. The Gospel of Christ is a "show and tell" gospel. You'd be amazed what you see when you allow God to have control.

Quit keeping down. Quit being apprehensive. God revealed to you that he would be with you(Matthew 28:20), so whether you feel him or not, I guarantee you He's there. It's not God's will for individuals to hurt and broken. He wants everyone to be healed and free. If more people lived a kingdom lifestyle, we just might see more of that today. I challenge you to live a life like Christ, a life where you walk in the redemption and righteousness God has given you. Let Jesus be your role model. I also encourage you to look into Todd White. If you want more insight on what I've shared, look up Todd on YouTube. . .but, more importantly, check it with scripture and with God.

I don't  anticipate that anybody should take my statement for anything. I need you to discover it for yourself. Make a plunge, and enable God to give you what He can and needs to do in and through your life And while you're at. . .  be energize by the life and ministry of Todd White. He's a quite magnificent person.

OSUN ELECTION AND MATTERS ARISING

THE OSUN ELECTION AND MATTERS ARISING!

The legality of the declaration by the State Returning Officer of the Osun State Governorship election as inconclusive, on the ground of the purported cancellation of results of some polling units, will depend on the particular INEC official that cancelled the results. If the cancellation was done by the Returning Officer himself, or even the Resident Electoral Officer, sitting in Osogbo, the State capital, then the cancellation is void, and cannot stand. For neither the Returning Officer, nor the Resident Electoral Officer, has the power to cancel the result of a polling unit.

The power of cancellation has been donated exclusively by the Electoral Act to the Presiding Officer of the Polling Unit. That much has been clear in our electoral jurisprudence since 2008. The LOCUS CLASSICUS on the point is SENATOR DAVID MARK V. ALHAJI ABUBAKAR USMAN (2008) 1 LRECN 435 at 530. In VICTOR NWOKOLO V. HON. DORIS UBOH (2012) LPELR 8019(CA), the Court of Appeal said as follows, relying on MARK V. ABUBAKAR:

"The election having been held in Ika North - East L.G.A. as borne out of the evidence led, it was for the Returning Officer to have declared the result of the election by deciding on the scores of the candidates under section 68(1) of the Electoral Act leaving an aggrieved party with his options under the Act AND NOT FOR HIM TO DECLARE THE ELECTION INCONCLUSIVE. HE HAD NO POWER TO DO SO. His action was therefore ultra vires and void."

In the recent case of IKPEAZU V. OTTI (2016) LPELR - 40055(SC), the Supreme Court upheld the principle in MARK V. ABUBAKAR  and said as follows:

"...the law has been fairly settled on whose responsibility it is to cancel an election result....the collation officer purported to have cancelled the result of the election...as against...the Presiding Officer at the Polling Unit. This Court did not only hold that the State Returning Officer has no power in law to cancel election results but deprecated his guts to have done so...."

If therefore, as is being suggested, it was the State Returning Officer, acting in concert with the Osun State Resident Electoral Commissioner, that cancelled the results, the cancellation cannot stand, being a nullity,  and thus void.

However, if the cancellation was done by the respective Presiding Officers of the affected polling units, that would ofcourse be an unimpeachable exercise of the administrative discretion duly donated to Presiding Officers by Law. They are the Chief Executive Officers of their respective polling units, and have been vested by Law with authority to uphold the result in their units, or to cancel them. The only caveat in this regard being that once the Presiding Officer has upheld a result by filling in the Form EC8A and signing same, he becomes FUNCTUS OFFICIO, and can no longer reverse himself through cancellation. In that event, only an Election Petitions Tribunal can order the cancellation of that result. That is the purport of the provisions of sections 63 - 68 of the Electoral Act.

Assuming it was the Presiding Officers of the affected units that cancelled the results, the practical effect of the cancellation would depend on the total number of registered voters in the affected units, and the margin of lead between the score  of the leading candidate, and that of the candidate who came second. The law will in that situation assume that all the registered voters in the affected units would have cast their votes for the trailing candidate. It's a legal fiction to be executed by the Returning Officer. If after notionally adding the total number of registered voters to the score of the trailing candidate, the trailing candidate is still not able to offset the lead posted by the leading candidate, then the Returning Officer must immediately declare and return the winner, provided that, if it's a gubernatorial election, the leading candidate has also satisfied the requirements of spread, as is required by section 179 of the Constitution. In that situation, a supplementary or by - election will be a mere academic exercise, without any potentially practical effect on the final result, and will thus not be ordered.

If on the other hand, the total number of registered voters is capable of offsetting the lead when added to the scores of the trailing candidate, no return in that election can be made, and a by - election must be ordered to determine the winner. This is a basic principle of electoral jurisprudence upheld by the courts through the cases. It has now been codified and incorporated into the INEC MANUAL.

In the just concluded Osun State Governorship election, the PDP candidate, Senator Adeleke, led by about 365 votes, whereas the total number of registered voters in the purportedly cancelled units is said to be above 3000, and thus capable of offsetting Adeleke's lead. But, as I have earlier shown, it would all depend on which official it was that cancelled the results. If the results were cancelled by the Presiding Officers BEFORE declaring them at the Polling units, then the cancellation will stand, and the principle espoused above will apply, and a by - election will inevitably ensue. If however the results were cancelled by the Resident Electoral Commissioner or the Returning Officer, or even by the Presiding Officers after declaring them, then, the cancellation will be void and of no effect, being invalid.

It has been difficult to get clarity from Osogbo as to the true facts. But I've done an exposition of the law based on the assumptions I have heretofore outlined.

FEDERAL HIGH COURT ORDER 7 COMMERCIAL BANKS TO REMIT $793 BILLION

FEDERAL HIGH COURT ORDER 7 COMMERCIAL BANKS TO REMIT $793 BILLION
The Federal High Court in Lagos has granted an interim order for seven commercial banks in Nigeria to remit a total of $793,200,000, allegedly hidden with them in violation of the Constitution and the Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy of the Federal Government.
Presiding Justice Chuka Obiozor on Thursday directed the banks to remit to the designated CBN Asset Recovery Dollars Account, various amounts allegedly kept in their custody illegally.
The interim order was given after the court listened to an ex-parte application filed by counsel to the Attorney General of the Federation, Professor Yemi Akinseye-George.
While arguing the application, Professor Akinseye-George said it would best serve the interest of justice for the court to order the banks to remit the funds to the Federal Government to prevent the funds from being diverted, misapplied, stolen or misappropriated.
He also stressed that the withheld funds are urgently required by the Federal Government for executing the 2017 budget.
After listening to him, Justice Obiozor granted the interim orders.
He also directed that the order should be published in a national daily newspaper.
In early August 2015, the Federal Government had directed all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), including to make payments into a Treasury Single Account (TSA).
The government had expressed optimism that the directive would promote transparency and facilitate compliance with Sections 80 and 162 of the 1999 Constitution.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) were also affected by the policy.
Other agencies include the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC), Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, (FAAN) and Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) among other government agencies.

SEE THE MOST EXPENSIVE COMMODITY IN NIGERIA MARKET

The year 2017 is not a very good year for consumers as price of commodities triggered up about 200%, this is as a result of the present recession that hits the Nigeria Economy, however as consumers lamentes   over high price of commodities in the market, cassava farmers are smiling as their product is yelling reasonable profit of not less than 10 times of the old price as at last year(2016 ). For instance cassava fleak (garri) is currently toping the chart of commodities price in Nigeria markets.

Our reporter who conducted a market survey in some basic markets in Benue state, reported that the price rocketed from 1,500 NGN to 11,000 NGN for a 40kg and a painta is about 1,500 to 2000 NGN against 500 NGN in 2016 while a cup is within the range of 60 to 70 NGN. Some of the markets visited includes Wurukum market in Makurdi the state Capital,Otukpo main maket, onyangede in ohinmini LGA,Eke market in okpokwu LGA,Rijo in Ado and Inkiri in Ado LGA.

According to the analysis by our Reporter if trader had invested or stored garri last year such trader will be making not less than 10,000 NGN from each 40kg stored which even Gold merchants  can't profit  in a single transaction.
